Swiss Frontrunners brings together representatives from LGBTQ+ running communities in Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne and Zurich. Together, we form a national umbrella initiative that connects our local communities, while each group retains its own identity and activities.

Our purpose is to make LGBTQ+ running in Switzerland more visible and connected. We encourage exchange between groups, support joint activities and events, and strengthen communication within Switzerland and with the wider International Frontrunners community. Whether you are looking for a local running community, visiting another city or moving to Switzerland, Swiss Frontrunners helps you find your way into the network.

We also reach beyond cities with established groups. For LGBTQ+ runners and allies in regions without a local running community, the initiative offers a starting point to meet others, get involved and help new groups take shape.

Swiss Frontrunners provides a national point of entry for people looking to connect with these communities, including runners travelling or relocating within Switzerland. It also welcomes enquiries from runners in regions without an existing local group who would like to connect with others or help a new group emerge.
